Why is there Ivory and yellow color shea butter?
During the production process of Shea butter, ivory color is naturally expected. However, in some cases, certain root herb is added during production. This gives the yellow coloration of some Shea butter. Note that coloration is not the only determining factor of the quality and nutrient content of Shea butter; the production and refining processes are vital. Generally, raw and unrefined Shea butter is best.
